We would like to share with you all, the antics of our very special guests, a family of Lesser Double Collared Sunbirds.

Tony started putting sugar water out for the sunbirds about 2 years ago. We started off with a pair that took days to go through the bottle that was put out for them. Well, that was the start of something great! We now have, at last count, 13 of these little cuties coming to drink on a daily basis and going through 500ml of water a day.  At times there are 5 or 6 trying to get water at the same time, they dart about with  great speed and agility most of the day.

These little wonders of nature have brought ourselves and many of our guests endless hours of pleasure and have been subject to many a photo session.
